What changed for people using Bellwether

• Market scanner tabs match their numbers. Gainers lists only names that are up, Losers only names that are down, strongest first, each with its company name and a "Volume vs usual" column. When a name the 10:45 scan flagged has since turned, the caption says so: "flagged 8 gainers; one has since turned back down, so seven are shown."
• Earnings rows name the company. "Broadcom reports after the close" replaces a ticker, a date and a clipped title on one line, and your own holdings are marked next to the name. Sector tiles say "9 of 11 with live prices", and after hours the page says which close the prices are from.
• Public pages agree with the app. The landing page takes the day's times and the desk roster from the same schedule and roles list the console uses, marks the Trader as in testing, and the offline page and the sign-in error state now give a reassurance that is true on Manual, Semi and Full alike.
• Broker setup speaks plainly. Coming-soon brokers give a reason, one step counter shows at a time, the Alpaca screenshots open at full size, and a connected book shows one summary and one button instead of the broker chooser. The Done card states each starting limit with where it comes from, such as "the Moderate posture's $500 minimum".
• Performance charts carry a key. Every chart that draws SPY and a 60/40 mix labels them under the plot, the two benchmarks differ by dash pattern rather than shade, and axis labels no longer print on top of each other. The monthly returns grid keeps the year total pinned while the months scroll.

What you may notice

• The release notes feed is an index: one card per release with its number, date, title and a one-line summary, grouped by month, with Older and Newer links on each release page.
• A page that does not exist says the link may be old or the page may have moved, and that nothing in your account is affected.
• Too many sign-in attempts shows a wait message with a clock, without marking the e-mail and password fields as wrong.
• On a phone the monthly returns grid opens on the latest months; the older ones are a swipe away, and a flat month prints as a quiet dot instead of "0.0%" in red or green.
• The statement's window line reads "4 trading days · Sep 1, 2026 to Sep 4, 2026 · paper trading", and the track record labels the trades you placed yourself "your own trades, realized".
• The readiness page for live trading is titled "Readiness for live trading" and each gate names what it measures rather than how the platform is built.
• Help calls the role "the Portfolio Manager" everywhere, and the onboarding screenshots are only served to signed-in users.

Known gaps and what’s next

• The market scanner still ranks by the change at scan time while showing the live change; names that turned are withheld with a note until the ranking is recomputed on read.
• The monthly returns grid does not yet offer a per-month comparison against SPY.
• The e-mailed statement PDF still carries the old sleeve sentence; the page composes its own.
• Inbox, Overview and Activity wording from the same audit arrive in the next release.
