Agent screen craft, one role-icon family and Overview facts that agree
The Agent screen, the role icons and the Overview and Inbox were redrawn and reread so that each row scans at a glance and no two places on a page disagree about the same fact.
What changed for people using Bellwether
- Agent screen laid out as a ledger. On Agent › Your desk every row sits on one grid in one typeface with the role icon on the text line, and the selected session is a quiet raised band. The day opens with its date and one summary line: "20 sessions, all done", the trades proposed and "$11.40 spent".
- One icon family for the desk. The Researcher, Portfolio Manager, Trader, Critic, Quant and Consult wear one set of outline marks (a broadsheet, a pie with a lifted slice, two arrows, an eye, bars, a bubble) drawn crisp at every size on the Agent screen, Consult, the Inbox, Activity, Learning and help.
- Protective exits are not approvals. When the executor is already selling a position on its stop, the Overview and Inbox say so as a notice. The rare exit that truly waits for a person is shown as an exception card that leads with what happened and why you are asked.
- Overview and Inbox agree with themselves. The mind card says "No trades yet today" only when today has no fills; the Advisor's figures use the same limits and words as the Risk page; an order reads the same on Activity, the Inbox and Alerts, for example "BUY 1.36 JPM at $210.40 for $286".
- Learning shows recording from the record. Desk › Learning's RECORD step now reads on, with the time of the last recorded session, whenever sessions are being recorded, and says missed after two trading days without one. It no longer reads "switched off" on a desk that is recording.
What you may notice
- Under a halt or a pause, an Inbox card that still offers Approve says next to the button what approving will do while trading is stopped; a reviewer or a read-only visitor sees wording written for them instead of controls they cannot use.
- The Overview chart's cluster popover groups a busy stretch as Fills, Consult and Sessions with a count on each, and the chart's toggles filter the popover too.
- Session times on the Agent screen read "10:30–10:44 AM CT", or "11:00 AM CT" while a session is still running; the zone is said once per range.
- The tabs above the Agent timeline carry counts as small badges, for example "Check-ins 12", and repeated check-ins fold behind "Hide 3 repeats".
- The book switcher's day change and posture come from the same summary as the page header, so a custom-posture book no longer shows two different day figures.
- Any time that is not from today carries its day, for example "Tue 14:30 CT"; with the price stream off, the Positions header says "Live prices are off; these are the last known prices" once instead of a dash in every row.
Known gaps and what’s next
- The Algorithms page is renamed Signals in a following release; its tabs and counts stay as they are.
- The nightly check that compares each screen with the numbers behind it is installed but not yet scheduled; until it runs, changed screens are still read by hand after hours and in session.
- The third tournament cycle confirmed the exit-template rule again, 7 of 8 against 0 of 8, and dropped the trial fence on name selection; the Portfolio Manager is unchanged by it.
- The public pages' particle field in white and orange and the faster release path arrive in a following release.
