A new book gets to work the moment it exists

Day one is a real day.

What changed for people using Bellwether

  • Day one is a real day. When you create a book, the desk starts researching straight away; as soon as you finish setting it up, the portfolio manager writes a first plan for that book instead of waiting for tomorrow's schedule. The Overview tells you plainly where it is ("setting up your desk: research first, then the plan") and when trading can begin.
  • Existing books can ask for a fresh start too. A book that has been idle can request a new brief and plan without being recreated.
  • The equity chart no longer draws a false cliff. A flat series with a gap used to render as a plunge to zero and back; it now draws what actually happened.
  • The daily-loss line is measured from the right starting point when money moved between the previous close and the next open.
