Guidance that waits for an event, a sharper news reader, and a desk-side rule suggester

What changed for people using Bellwether

• Guidance can wait for a named event. A note like "no adds to AMZN before the big IPO prices" no longer quietly expires after ten trading days: it stays pending until the event it names shows up in the news the desk reads (or until a long default horizon), the Guidance card says what it is waiting for in your own words, and when matching news arrives the card flags "may have happened" so you can confirm and close it. The portfolio manager is told about the note on every relevant session while it waits.
• Suggested rules from your own words, drafted by the desk. When you save free-text guidance that reads like a rule, the desk (not the web server) proposes the typed version for you to accept or ignore; nothing applies until you confirm.
• The desk reads more kinds of news correctly. The news classifier now recognises a wider set of story types (guidance changes, capital returns, legal and regulatory items, management changes, product events, macro prints and more), so "tell me when X happens" watches and research summaries label stories more precisely.
• Fewer false "your watch fired" alerts. Standing if-then watches match on meaning first and on word overlap second, with noise classes never firing; the evidence behind the change (what each matcher would have fired on over the last month of real items) is recorded, and a stricter semantic veto is available but ships off until it proves itself.
