What changed for people using Bellwether

• Tell your desk, in plain words. Strategy › Guidance now takes free text ("go aggressive until Wednesday, then back to normal", "cap any single position at 5%") and shows you exactly what it understood as a confirmation card before anything applies: goals, tilts, dated schedules that revert themselves, and hard rules. Loosening steps ask for your code; tightening ones do not. Consult can draft the same card from a chat.
• A goal you type now shapes sizing, and says so. When a typed goal is active the portfolio manager cites it in its reasoning and sizes toward it inside your caps; an expired goal no longer lingers.
• Speculative posture (paper books only, behind an explicit risk acknowledgement and your code): wider limits than Aggressive for people who want the desk fully deployed. A follow-up will make its trading style, not just its limits, distinct.
• One look and feel across the console. Buttons, cards, tabs, tables, dialogs and empty states now come from a single kit; the signed-in backdrop is a faint static glow instead of a moving field; the desk's role illustrations were redrawn.
• Book settings. Rename a book, give it an emoji and description, and archive books you own that hold nothing (archived books are view-only and never trade). Inviting someone now defaults to giving them their own book.
• Quant suggestions stay inside their envelope. Suggested weight or parameter changes are clamped to the allowed step and say so, instead of proposing moves the desk would refuse.
• Fixes from the design audit: calmer glow, tab focus ring no longer clipped, clearer Guidance counts.
